As a First-generation immigrant, I often felt a sense of disconnect from my culture while growing up, as my family focused on adapting to American traditions and holidays. However, through this creative process, I had the opportunity to explore and celebrate my heritage in ways I had not experienced before. This project became a meaningful journey of rediscovery, allowing me to honor my cultural identity through design.
